Same thing happened to me, and about the same timing. I've created app-specific passwords at least 4 times so far, trying to get it all back up and running. I did find that they work on the SMTP server if I try to send an email, but the IMAP connection to the incoming server hasn't connected for hours, now. A gmail issue, perhaps?
